Assistant Professor
Department of Economics
Loyola Marymount University

I am an economist at LMU. My research lies in macroeconomics and its related fields. I focus on business cycles, asset pricing, and macroeconomic policy in both closed and open economy settings. I have a particular interest in models with multiple equilibria, where animal spirits can independently drive short-term fluctuations and even shape long-term outcomes.

My current projects examine household time allocation and economic inequality.

I also lead the Liberal Arts Macro Business Cycles workshop. If you're interested in joining our online workshop, please feel free to reach out. Additional liberal arts macroeconomics groups are listed on the website of the Liberal Arts Macro Group.

I received my Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and an M.A. and B.A. in Economics from HSE University in Moscow (HSE).

My CV is available here.
